AI Product & Use‑Case Tech Lead

Operating in a high-velocity environment of large-scale transformation and constant fluidity, you must thrive on ambiguity and drive stability through change. As the AI Product & Use-Case Tech Lead, you own the cross-sector use-case engine - discovery, build, replication and the playbook library that powers structural change across Comarch. You are accountable for turning promising AI ideas surfaced at the sector level into validated, deployable solutions, and for replicating what works across a rapidly evolving organization.

You operate at the intersection of product, technology and business. You run the sector use-case pipeline end-to-end, adapt sector-level AI solutions to the Comarch organizational level, curate the cross-sector AI Playbooks, and act as the validation authority for AI tools proposed across the company. Managing the AI experimentation budget in a dynamic landscape, you work closely with sector leads, Product, Engineering, Data, Security and the Chief AI Officer to ensure AI investment continuously adapts and compounds into structural advantage.

Your Responsibilities

• Own the sector use-case pipeline end-to-end - from idea and discovery through build, deployment and cross-sector replication
• Deploy and adjust relevant AI solutions from the sector level to the Comarch organizational level, generalizing point solutions into reusable capabilities
• Curate and continuously evolve the cross-sector AI Playbooks so sectors can reuse proven patterns rather than reinvent tchem
• Test and recommend the implementation of new AI solutions across Comarch, serving as the validation authority for AI tools proposed at the sector Level
• Own and manage the AI experimentation budget - prioritizing experiments by expected impact, killing what doesn’t work and scaling what does
• Define and enforce evaluation criteria for AI use cases and tools: business value, technical feasibility, risk, security and time-to-value
• Partner with sector leads to identify high-leverage use cases and translate business problems into AI product opportunities
• Work with R&D, Data and Security to ensure replicated solutions meet quality, governance and compliance standards
• Maintain a clear view of the AI tooling and vendor landscape; advise leadership on build-vs-buy and standardization decisions
• Report pipeline health, experiment outcomes and realized value to the Chief AI Officer and sector stakeholders

Candidate Profile

• 8+ years in technical product, AI/ML engineering or applied-AI delivery roles, including ownership of products or solutions taken from concept to production
• Demonstrated track record of shipping AI/ML or data-driven solutions that delivered measurable business impact
• Strong technical fluency in modern AI: LLMs and generative AI, ML workflows, evaluation methods, and the surrounding tooling and infrastructure
• Proven ability to translate business problems into AI use cases and to generalize point solutions into reusable, cross-organization capabilities
• Experience defining evaluation and validation frameworks for tools or solutions, and acting as a technical decision authority
• Hands-on experience prioritizing and managing a portfolio or budget of experiments, balancing speed of learning against rigor
• Excellent communication skills: able to align engineers, product owners, sector leaders and executives around a shared roadmap
• Strong stakeholder management across a large, matrixed organization, working with multiple sectors and functions in paralel
• Fluent business English (C1+ equivalent); able to lead technical and executive conversations across international teams. Polish is an advantage
• Comfortable working on-site/hybrid from Kraków and collaborating with distributed teams across time zones

  • Experience building internal platforms, playbooks or reusable component libraries adopted across multiple teams
  • Familiarity with AI governance, security and compliance considerations in an enterprise setting
  • Exposure to two or more of Comarch’s sectors (e.g., telco, finance, retail, healthcare, public sector) or comparable enterprise software domains
  • Background in management consulting, transformation programs or internal innovation functions
  • Active awareness of the fast-moving AI vendor and open-source landscape
